Transferring into OPC or already licensed pistol shooter?

How to join OPC

A. If you already have a Victorian General Category Handgun Licence and are a member of another approved handgun club,

  1. Complete the Membership Application form,
  2. Include a copy of your current Gen Cat H Licence,
  3. Include a “letter of referral” from your existing club.
  4. All prospective members are required to complete the OPC Handgun Safety Awareness Course.

B. If you already have an Australian interstate handgun licence,

  1. Complete the Membership Application form,
  2. Include a copy of your current Handgun Licence,
  3. Include a “letter of referral” from your existing club,
  4. Advise Victoria Police, Licensing & Regulation Division that you intend transferring into Victoria, and confirm current registry requirements

  5. All interstate prospective members are required to complete the OPC Handgun Safety Awareness Course.
